Why a fake clock?

This isn't really a fake clock, it's a regualr stop watch, nothing special, no gimmickry to see here.

So why 'fake'?

Okay so it's not totally normal, it has one feature normal stopwatches don't. If you tap/click any digit, it goes up by 1 instantly. Also if you tap/click on the miliseconds, it goes fullscreen to give the impression that it's an app and not a webpage. The fontsize was chosen to fill my phonescreen for this purpose.

But why?

Imagine you're filming a scene where you need a timer in the background and you want to cut to the same scene later but an hour has passed. you don't want to have to wait an hour of the counter going up to film that next scene, but there are apparently no hardware solutions to the problem. You can either set a time and count down, or count up from zero. No set a time and count up clocks apparently exist. So this is my solution. load it on your phone, set it going and incremenet the time as needed. This is intended to be a tabletop puzzle timer but if you download the html, css and js you could easily reskin it to put on a big monitor in a sci-fi thing.
